Global Rhythm

Ipswich's annual free festival of world music brings the best in world and roots music and dance to the perfect setting of Christchurch Park. 

The Martin Burley Peppery stage presents  Fowokan Soul reggae roots with hard hitting funky vibes;  Lokkhi Terra Bangladeshi song, Cuban rumba and township jazz grooves;  Goldmaster Allstars Energetic ska, rocksteady, heavy roots and reggae;  She’Koyokh Rich music from Jewish Eastern Europe Turkey & the Balkans; Grupo Lokito Fusing contemporary Congolese and Cuban music

Global Rhythm 2023 also features Caribbean culture on the Missile Sound Stage, free workshops for all ages and abilities, pop up Indian, Romanian and other dance shows, and a range of food and drink stalls – or you could bring a picnic – for a great family day out.
