JUSTIN THURGUR’S AFRO JAZZ PROJECT at 2.30pm - The trombonist from seminal folk group Bellowhead brings his Afro-Jazz Project to Ipswich, playing tracks from their acclaimed debut album “No Confusion”.
CUBAFROBEAT at 3.30pm - A Cuban / Afrobeat Experience bringing together music from both sides of the Atlantic. Havana meets Lagos in Ipswich.
THE DESTROYERS at 5.30pm - With madcap energy and grooves that you simply cannot stand still to, The Destroyers will launch the audience into a celtic spin, serving up a high octane closing set that must not be missed.
Global Rhythm 2018 also features the Global Village Stage, with local musicians from the diverse communities in Ipswich, the Missile Sound Stage, with Caribbean Sound System Culture, free workshops for all ages and abilities, fairground rides, cultural catering and crafts.
